The conferencing facilities floor to ceiling windows provide an abundance of natural light and incomparable views of the golf course and surrounding sand dunes of the Surf Coast & Torquay.  The modern facilities of the resort function rooms can adapt to cater for small board meetings through to large conferences, corporate events & Weddings.Standard audio visual equipment, wireless internet connection, motorised black-out blinds and dedicated audiovisual technicians.


Balmoral Room & Bar

Balmoral Room is perfect for sponsors, meal breaks, pre-dinner drinks, canapes, private dinners & conference / meeting breakouts. The floor to ceiling windows provide lots of natural light. The room also access to the outdoor space overlooking the golf course, perfect for the warmer months.

Harrow Room

The Harrow Room can seat a conference for up to 94 people Cabaret style and as little as 10 U-Shape or Boardroom. With the versatility of setting the room any way you wish this room is perfect for any style of conference. The room features floor to ceiling windows that overlook our stunning golf course. All only minutes walk to the Torquay beaches. 

Harrow Room - Caberet Style

The second of the three large function rooms, this versatile room can cater for conferences up to 150 delegates theater-style and is suited to any function, be it cocktail, presentation, meeting or product launches. Floor to ceiling windows allowing natural light are featured along with automated blackout blinds and terrace access.

Cobden Room 

The third of three large function rooms, the Cobden room is a mirror image of the Harrow Room. With floor to ceiling windows allowing plenty of natural light, automated blackout blinds are fitted and there is access to the terrace from this room.

The Sands Ballroom - Cobden, Harrow & Balmoral Room

Combined these rooms can cater for up to 450 guests theater style and is perfect for large conference groups. With the bi-fold doors removed, all three clubhouse function rooms can hold up to 450 delegates theatre style. This versatile room is ideal for larger groups and suitable for events such as weddings, gala nights, product launches, presentations and exhibitions.

Retreat Room

'Retreat' to the 10th hole. This venue is located apart from the main clubhouse building and is ideal for private meetings and smaller executive groups. Suitable for up to 30 delegate's theater style, the Retreat Room offers full amenities and service.

Finding a regional venue to host a 2.5 day conference for 250 delegates with onsite accommodation, is not an easy task. From the initial site visit to the closing session, the staff at Peppers The Sands Torquay were professional, attentive and helpful with a positive 'can do' attitude. Looking out over beautiful golfing greens and a short walk to the beach, the event was a huge success and exceeded my clients expectations.

I thought it was important you were made aware of your staff at Peppers Sands Torquay and what incredible advocates they are for you. I held an event for my partners birthday there on Saturday night for 20 guests who all stayed at the venue overnight. From the moment of contact, the staff have been wonderful. Every detail was taken care of and nothing was too much trouble, they really made our guests smile. My partner and I have travelled around the world and been to some of the finest hotels and restaurants. The service and function were a standout. Staff in particular who were superb - Callie Dew, Elise, Morgan the manager in charge, Jessica & Laura. Front desk team were also wonderful and should be recognised. From the beginning Elise made it so easy to organise this function and Erin was also extremely helpful after the booking was confirmed. All staff at The Sands couldn't do enough to help. Very organise, very prompt and very efficient. Many thanks The pro shop service was excellent. We didn't use a couple of packs of golf balls that we pre-purchased. They were happy to refund these at the end of our 9 holes.

All of my team loved the venue and the service - it was truly outstanding and I have already mentioned that feedback to a number of my Clients. We are really passionate about excellent Customer Service so look for it in all our interactions and we had an amazing day because everything was perfect.
